Chris Clark (born September 10, 1975) is an American sportscaster. He currently works at WCNC-TV as sports director in Charlotte, North Carolina. ==Career== In February 2008 Chris signed on with WTVT FOX 13 in Tampa, Fl. Working as a reporter/producer he covered all the area pro, college and high school teams. During his 2 and a half year stint Chris won Emmys for sports reporting, sports editing and 2 for sports features. He also helped win 2 Florida AP awards for breaking sports news. Before joining WTVT he worked for Catch 47, a regional sports network in Tampa Bay, Florida. While at Catch 47 he won the stations first Associated Press (AP) award taking first place in the 2008, large market, "Best Sports Feature" category for his story about a local high school baseball player. In December 2008 he won the stations first Suncoast Emmy taking home top prize in the "Best Sports Reporter" category. He formerly worked for WTOC-TV of Savannah, Georgia. While in Savannah he won numerous AP awards, an Emmy Award, and an Edward R. Murrow Award in 2005 for his stories on high school football players. He won another pair of Emmy's in 2007, one for Best Sports Reporter. In 2002 and 2003, the WBOY sports team swept the AP's, winning everything in the sports category.
